Do I need a building permit?

In most case’s, a building permit is required for any structure over 10 sqm that is attached to the house.

If you are a "doing it yourself", Its always best to ask your local council if your structure requires a building or planning permit before ordering your design.

When you order from us, we will supply all the permits you need.

How long does it take to get a building permit?

Permits can take from 1 to 30 days. This takes into account the number of applications ahead of you and the scope of the work. Planning permits do take longer to process.

We keep all our clients up to date with the progress of their permits.

How much does a building permit cost?

The standard charge is $1,250.00. This cost will be calculated into the cost of your design.

When will my design be delivered?

The average production time is 3-4 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of your design.

We update all our clients on delivery times.

Are your pergolas Colorbond?

Yes. All of our pergolas and carports are made from Colorbond steel and are 100% Bluescope steel.

What is your warranty?

We offer a 30 Year Home Owners Warranty, which is a leader in the industry and gives peace of mind to the homeowner for years to come.

In addition, we only use 100% BlueScope Steel, who offer a warranty of up to 25 years from the date of installation on any* Colorbond Steel or Zincalume products.

Do I have to have posts in my design?

We can achieve long spans without the need for posts inside your verandah or carport.
